Responsibilities

Our Corporate office seeks a proactive thinking Marketing Operations Coordinator to join our marketing team. The Marketing Operations Coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day email development, testing, execution and reporting to support Fastaff Travel Nursing and U.S. Nursing Corporation. As the Marketing Operations Coordinator, the candidate will build, test, and send all emails. This individual is responsible for collaborating with marketing and other department stakeholders, including management, to regularly ensure email messaging and functionality align with the strategic direction created to support organizational long and short-term goals. The Marketing Operations Coordinator will also become a highly skilled user of Eloqua and other digital platforms.

 

What will I be doing as a Marketing Operations Coordinator?

  • Create email assets and execute campaigns to segmented audiences using the Oracle Eloqua marketing automation tool, while also leveraging other programs that include, but are not limited to: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Dreamweaver to create and modify images and HTML coding.
  • Work with Communications Coordinator and Marketing Operations Specialist to ensure emails are created, tested, and approved on time and in accordance with the weekly marketing schedule.
  • Testing and optimization through programs such as Litmus, Email on Acid, and Google Analytics.
  • Monitor and recommend tactics to improve user experience and deliverability.
  • Report weekly on email performance, including making recommendations for optimization and improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date on email best practices, and make recommendations to the team frequently.
  • Manage accurate subscription statuses, including removing recipients requesting to be removed from all mailings.
  • Ensure data integrity with exporting and importing email segment lists; including properly identifying the proper audience for email execution.
  • Availability to have at least one after hours/weekend on-call shift per month.

Qualifications

What kind of experience do I need to have to be successful as a Marketing Operations Coordinator?

 

·         A Bachelor’s degree is required for this position, marketing or business major preferred.

·         1-2 years of experience working with email service providers/marketing automation platforms similar to Marketo, Eloqua, Mail Chimp, etc. (Oracle Eloqua a plus).

·         Strong understanding of internet-based consumer behavior and direct marketing principles.

·         Basic understanding of HTML, CSS coding and Adobe Creative Suite.

·         Effective computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.

·         Strong knowledge of email best practices and CAN-SPAM laws.

·         Understand the backend journey of an email, barriers to making it to the inbox, handoffs, DNS, IP’s, definition of bounce reasons, etc.

·         Strong attention to detail, organizational, project management and time management skills are necessary.

·         A Bachelor’s degree is required for this position, marketing or business major preferred.
